[Project 7] Last Day?!

OMG!!!!  Is today the last day for the Project 7? Time flies! In these few days, I used my Nikon S51 to explore my familiar world, but I saw many priceless scenes. Also, I rediscovered the beauty of my world! Is there "hope" around me? Yes! Is there "love" around me? Yes! Is there "faith" around me? Yes! Life is good. It is a really good thing to enjoy life in different ways. Of course, in positive ways...

Pinky said:   Hello~my name is Pinky. Yes, you're right. P-I-N-K-Y. I was born in Virginia and I am very young. But please don't ask my age. It's always a secret for women, no matter you're 2-year-old or 30-year-old. Okay! I want to introduce the picture in my left-hand side. Actually, it is a card you can buy only in some places, such as Winchester Walking Mall. This card is made by Mary Mayhew. Can you guess how many cats does she have? Just use your fingers to count how many cats in the card! Enjoy!!!

[Project 7] The Art of Stop

It is really different when you see a stop sign in Taiwan and America. In Taiwan, when you see a sign like this, the driver will slow down the speed and hopefully stop the car. In America, you need to completely "STOP" the car and wait for your turn to go. Sometimes, life needs Taiwanese "stop" style; sometimes, American style is better for your life!

[Project 7] Amazing Hydrangea

Hydrangea is one of my favorite flowers. I want to use this as my bridal bouquet!!!   In Aunt Sue's garden, there are three generations (1st-purple, 2nd-blue, and 3rd-pink). It's really interesting that they change color because of the aluminum in the soil. If you like a pink hydrangea from a blue one, you need to subtract aluminum from the soil, and vice versa.

(I have a dream: I will have a hydrangea in my garden!)

[Project 7] Echo: Stand Up! EGG!!

Hello everybody! Today (June 23) is Dragon Boat Festival. In Taiwan, I will watch the dragon boat race on TV, eat rice dumpling, and buy a pretty fragrant sachet. This year, I tried something new-I stood 2 eggs upright at noon!!!  In Taiwan, we believe if we could do this, it will bring us a year worth of good luck! This is so fun!!! Try this next year!

Since we talk about egg, let me introduce you a popular nursery song in America.

~Humpty Dumpty~
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.

Actually, Humpty Dumpty is busy. He appears not only in the song, but a very important role in the movie "Puss in Boot."(here is the link, in case you're interested)

Happy Dragon Boat Festival!

[Project 7] The Moment

We had a thunder storm in the evening. We lost the power for 1 minute. After 2 hours, I saw the pretty color above the sky.  In Taiwan, the sky will turn red when typhoon is coming. What's the meaning of this colorful sky today? Sometimes forget about the 5 w & 1 h questions, just enjoy this moment.

[Project 7] What a surprise!

Life is unpredictable, surprise is around you everyday. But the important thing is to think positively. Recently I have teeth issue. I went to see a dentist to do an oral examination and X-ray. It will take me USD 3,649 after discount. Should I take this treatment or should I think other options?    However, one of the beautiful things happened today was a little gentleman opened the door for me and said goodbye to me while leaving. Cute boy~you made my day!!!

[Project 7] What do you see!

I and my brother are going to post at least one picture per day to discover our lives (something new, cute, sweet, unique, gorgeous, unforgettable...etc. ) 7 days from today.

In the first day of Summer, I took a walk after supper.  Can you believe it's 8:30pm in Virginia? During Summer time, the sun will go down around 9:00pm in here.    A rocking chair, a little rabbit (but not a bunny) hiding in grass...let's go into the "Alice in Wonderland"
